Dream Breathing

This is the first of the Dream Breathing series: zines created to explore and support abolitionist dreaming practices. Many of us have dedicated so much of our lives, our ways of being and moving in community, to abolition - the cessation of all systems and institutions of state violence, white supremacy, and oppression. It can be difficult to cast our weary eyes beyond the front lines, but in the mirages of the horizon, new worlds are waiting to be conceived.

This 20-page issue introduces Eli Ryn Brown (all pronouns) and their practice, presents different meditations and breathing exercises, explores posture and body, and poses reflection questions about dreaming, community, and rest. Atlas Tan (they/them) is interviewed in the center pages, providing us with wisdom and generous dialogue to sit with as we move through the experience.
